*The Stone Masters will be taught top rope belaying

Frequently Asked Questions
HOW OLD DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE TO REGISTER?
We have two groups, the Stone Monkeys and the Stone Masters. The Stone Monkey age range is 6-11, the Stone Masters age range is 12-15.
DO YOU OFFER HALF DAYS OR EXTENDED CAMP HOURS?
We do not offer half days or extended hours. Camp begins promptly at 8am and children are expected to be picked up between 2pm and 2:15pm. Upon registration, all individuals authorized by the parent/legal guardian to pick up their child must be listed, including full name and phone number. Campers may not be dropped off more than 30 minutes before camp begins and must be picked up within 30 minutes of camp ending. Please call the gym at 980-444-2650 to notify camp coaches if there will be a late pick up/drop off. We ask that you please be courteous to camp coaches, staff and other camp parents by having your child picked up/dropped off in a timely manner.
WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS TO MISS A DAY OF CAMP?
We understand that unavoidable occurrences can come up at any time. If your child will be missing a day of camp, please call the gym at 980-444-2650 to notify the camp coaches. Please note, we do not offer pro-rated prices for missed days.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION?
You will receive a 50% refund if cancellation is made at least 2 weeks before the first day of camp. If you prefer, we will offer a 100% refund in the form of a Cliff Hangers Gift Card at any time before the first day of camp. If a camper decides to not return after the camp week has begun, it is up to the Cliff Hangers management team to decide what form of refund, if any, will be issued. Please note, Cliff Hangers reserves the right to refuse any refund at any time.
ARE ANY DISCOUNTS OFFERED?
If you are planning on registering more than one of your children, we offer a sibling discount of 10%. Example: Jonny, David and Sue are siblings and all interested in attending summer camp. Jonny registers first and pays the full amount. David and Sue then receive 10% off of Jonny’s price to attend. If your child is interested in registering for more than 1 session, a 15% discount off of the final total will be offered. Existing members of Cliff Hangers will receive a 20% discount on any session registered for. Please email email@example.com with any questions.
WHAT IS YOUR BEHAVIOR POLICY?
At Cliff Hangers Climbing and Fitness we strive to provide a fun and positive environment for all participants and guests alike, with expectations that our policies be followed to ensure a great experience. All campers are expected to demonstrate excellent behavior at all times. Disobedience to camp rules and regulations, poor conduct, foul language, distracting horseplay and bullying will not be tolerated. If a camper repeatedly shows bad behavior, the parent will be notified, and Cliff Hangers reserves the right to cancel their session, without refund.
WHAT IF A CAMPER HAS SPECIAL NEEDS?
We welcome campers of all abilities. If you have any questions, concerns or information about your child’s special needs, please email firstname.lastname@example.org so arrangements can be made, if needed, and coaches can be informed and prepared to make your child’s experience a great one.
WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS TO TAKE MEDICATION DURING THE DAY?
Cliff Hangers coaches cannot legally administer any medication to any participant at any time. We prefer campers to take medications before or after camp sessions. If a camper needs to take any medication during the day, please email email@example.com so the coaches can be informed and make appropriate arrangements.
MY CHILD HAS SERIOUS ALLERGIES. WHO DO I TALK TO ABOUT THIS?
You may email firstname.lastname@example.org to notify of any allergies your child may have. We highly encourage children with allergies to pack their own light lunch. We will, however, do our best to include them in the light lunch provided by Cliff Hangers, taking into consideration any allergies.
WILL MY CHILD GET ENOUGH 1 ON 1 ATTENTION?
In our best effort to give each child the attention they deserve, the ratio of coaches to children is 1:4.
WHAT IF I SIGN MY CHILD UP FOR A GROUP BUT NO ONE ELSE DOES?
We have a minimum of 3 participants per group, per session and a maximum of 15 participants per group per session. Should a session not meet the minimum requirement of 3 campers at least 2 weeks before the first day, the session will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued.
WHAT WILL MY CHILD NEED TO BE PREPARED WITH FOR EACH CAMP SESSION?
All campers must be equipped with the following:
Closed toed shoes (sneakers, tennis shoes, etc.)
Athletic clothing, easy to move in.
Refillable water bottle
Maybe an extra snack
